JUCO All-Star Teams during his two years. After being recruited by
over 30 Division I schools, Coach Clark chose to accept a
scholarship from Florida State and play in his hometown. A shoulder
injury cut short his playing days at Florida State.
Coach Clarks begins his thirteenth season coaching at Leon. His

the Varsity prior to becoming Head Coach. Coach Clark was the
Assistant Head Coach on the Lion's 1998 State Championship Team. He

championship. He has also served as the head of Leon's summer

camp.
During the previous 7 years, with the guidance of Coach Clark at the

Coach Moore won the batting award
(.455 average) and led the team in

After high school, Coach Moore

FAMU baseball program throughout the

Coach Moore started as an assistant coach with the
Freshman team in 2004. In 2005, He left the program to
become the head coach of FAMU High, where the program
had a 12-8 record in it's first year of baseball in over
ten years. He returned to the program a year later to
become the Head Coach of the Freshman team.
Coach Moore holds the record for most stolen bases in a
game at Leon (10 vs. Brooks County, GA). As a player, he
also has the distinct honor of being the only black
player in the history of the program to 1) lead the team
in batting (1988) and 2) hit over .400 in consecutive
years 1988 (.455) and 1989 (.409). As a coach, he is the
only black coach to lead any team in the program’s
